Kidspeak Speech-Language Therapy Services Inc was founded by Christina Galeano in 2019 after years of experience dedicated to child development and early intervention. Through experience as a parent, behavioral interventionist, and ABA supervisor, she fostered a love for helping children. Life experiences exposed her to the field of speech-language pathology, and a new passion was born. Kidspeak was dreamt up soon after to support families in their journey to help their children reach their full potential.
Kidspeak specializes in early intervention and provides in-clinic regional center funded services in Orange County as a part of a multidisciplinary program in collaboration with ACES ABA. We also offer speech-only services for children of all ages with various funders. Check out our services below.

Sara Upcraft received her bachelors in Organizational Communication from Cal Poly Pomona, and has experience working in management. She loves talking to new people and is passionate about being able to create positive experiences for clients and coworkers. She is honored to work within a field that helps families in such incredible ways.
When she is not working, Sara spends her time playing with her miniature dachshund named Mabel, watching or listening to musicals, crafting, and being with her family.
Gertrude "Trudy" Carrillo received her bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton. She also received her associate’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Assisting from Orange Coast College in 2018 and has been practicing as a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) since. Trudy has worked in private practice helping children from 18 months to 14 years. One of her primary passions is helping children from birth to age three and their families use play-based approaches to develop new skills.
In her free time, Trudy enjoys spending time with her husband, two teenage boys, and dog at home reading, watching movies, listening to various types of music, and gardening.
Mayah Gallego is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant aspiring to become a Speech Language Pathologist. She received her bachelors degree from Biola University and is currently a graduate student California State University, Fullerton. Her experience is comprised of working with children in outpatient clinics servicing children from 2-10 years old.
Her hobbies include spending time with friends, playing guitar and piano, salsa dancing, and baking.
Diane first became interested in Speech Language Pathology when volunteering at a pre-school in high school. She decided to start her studies with a Bachelor Degree in Arts at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. She continued her studies at the University of Alberta, Canada with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology. She completed her degree and became certified to work in Canada.
Once she moved to the US, she received her SLP license and began her working career in private practice which allowed her to work in many different settings; preschools, public schools, hospitals, early intervention clinics, as well as residential group homes for developmentally delayed individuals. Throughout these experiences, she was fortunate to get to work with many different populations and age ranges from 7 months to 80 years old. Since that time, she has worked at an early intervention center which is where she discovered her love for early intervention. She enjoys working with clients and family members as well as multidisciplinary teams to provide the best assessment and treatment plans.
Diane is married with two children and loves to volunteer with many local charities during her free time.
Lauren received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from California State University, Fullerton. She graduated in December 2019 with her master’s degree and has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist since. Lauren has experience working in both the public school setting and clinical setting. She is passionate about working with children from birth through preschool. In the school setting, Lauren has experience working on a multi-disciplinary preschool assessment team, and providing direct therapy services to preschool through school-aged children. Lauren especially enjoys working closely with her families by providing parent education and support. Additionally, Lauren has experience supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) and graduate student clinicians.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, working out at the gym, crafting, and reading.
Clinical Director
Allison Hamilton received her master's degree from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 2017 and has been practicing as a pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP) since. She has worked in private practice as a supervisor and lead SLP at multidisciplinary clinics, servicing children from birth to 18-years-old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, motor planning deficits, and genetic syndromes among other areas. She is passionate about neurodiversity affirming practices and augmentative communication.
During her time at CSUF, she participated in research regarding the Principles of Motor learning and presented findings at state and national conventions. She was the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Student Research award in this area and competed in a statewide research competition as a finalist. Allison holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA).
When she is not working, she enjoys yoga, walking her dog, and caring for her many houseplants.

Christina’s passion for working with children and adults with disabilities began during her senior year at California Lutheran University in 2000, as a behavioral interventionist. She then pursued a master’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and worked as a child assessment specialist and ABA clinical case supervisor before discovering the exciting field of speech-language pathology.
She since returned to school, completing the post-baccalaureate and master’s degree programs in Communicative Disorders at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). She’s enjoyed working with patients of all ages in outpatient rehab and with elementary students in the public schools. Christina completed her clinical fellowship and served as Clinical Director of Direct Therapy, in Pomona. She thoroughly enjoyed the honor of working alongside other therapy professionals as part of the Early Start Developmental Assessment team and Eligibility team at San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center. Christina also enjoys her work as a professor and clinical supervisor in the Communicative Disorders program at CSUF.
When she’s not working, you can usually find her at a Starbucks, hiking in the hills, or doing homework with her three kids (although she’d much rather be playing games).
